About Craneware Healthcare Intelligence

A new look at cost, reimbursement and value

The new, value-driven healthcare market is reorienting around best outcomes for best cost, while margin remains the most essential metric for business performance. The revenue cycle is now part of the larger value cycle, encompassing systems that not only drive billing performance and compliance, but operational efficiency and quality of care as well.

At Craneware, we’re expanding our value cycle offerings to address these challenges. A particular focus of development has been on gaining a greater understanding of the true patient cost of an episode of care. After reviewing both competitors and potential partners, we decided that in order to achieve our and our clients’ goals, we needed to build a world-class solution from the ground up.

A new company and a new solution

To accomplish this, Craneware has hired recognized industry experts to work with us and head a new company, Craneware Healthcare Intelligence. CHI is a new business division of Craneware that focuses on cost analytics solutions for healthcare organizations.

The company’s first solution is an innovative platform and application suite uniting cost and operational information across your provider organization, creating transparency and decision enablement insights. The solution will allow health systems to trace the pathway of the patient experience from a financial and operational perspective. It will also enable understanding of the critical components of operational metrics and expenses across the entire episode of care.
