Five Craneware Products Earn HFMA Peer Review Designation for Ten Consecutive Years
CHICAGO and ATLANTA, June 23, 2014 – The Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) recognized five Craneware products at ANI: HFMA’s 2014 National Institute in Las Vegas, for earning the “Peer Reviewed by HFMA®” standard every year since 2004, the first year of the Peer Review program.
The Craneware products receiving this distinction include Chargemaster Toolkit®, Chargemaster Corporate Toolkit®, Online Reference Toolkit®, Interface Scripting Module, and Bill Analyzer: the only healthcare products and services to earn this designation every year since the inception of the program.
“We are delighted to earn the prestigious HFMA Peer Review designation yet again for our automated revenue integrity solutions,” said Craneware CEO, Keith Neilson. “It’s a testament to our solutions’ ability to effectively enable hospitals and health systems to achieve revenue integrity. We also congratulate HFMA on its tenth anniversary of the Peer Review program, which industry leaders recognize as one of HFMA’s most valuable and highly respected resources.”
HFMA’s Peer Review process provides healthcare financial managers with an objective, third-party evaluation of products and services used in the healthcare workplace. The rigorous, eleven-step process includes a Peer Review panel review comprised of current customers, prospects who have not made a purchase, and industry experts. Peer Review status of the product or service and its performance claims are based on effectiveness, quality and usability, price, value, and customer and technical support.
“We are pleased to honor the Craneware team for achieving this milestone in the HFMA Peer Review program,” says HFMA President and CEO Joseph J. Fifer, FHFMA, CPA. “The fact that five of Craneware’s products earned this exclusive designation year after year for a decade, demonstrates their organization’s commitment to offering lasting solutions to our members and constituents.”
