Craneware and Intermountain to Share Best Practices for Revenue Integrity Strategy at 2013 HFMA MAP Event

Todd Craghead, Vice President of Revenue Cycle at Intermountain, and Jolene Howard, Craneware business solutions consultant, will lead a presentation titled, “Structuring Multidisciplinary Teams for Revenue Cycle Improvement,” on Monday, October 28 from 7:15-8:30 a.m. EST in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. During the session, Intermountain will detail its five-part strategy for improving enterprise-wide revenue integrity. Intermountain’s process included: building a multidisciplinary team with department-specific representatives, providing ongoing education and training on best practices, leveraging technology, and establishing a proactive system for ensuring data alignment.  Presenters will relate the results of their initiative to the HFMA MAP Keys which serve as unbiased indicators that can be used to accurately measure revenue cycle performance.
