Last week, we hosted our third annual Financial Performance Summit at the Hilton Palacio del Rio in San Antonio, Texas. The theme was, “Explore, Engage, Energize,” and we focused on how providers can strive towards better outcomes for all. During the event, attendees learned how the shift away from traditional revenue cycle processes towards a value cycle approach is critical for realizing better financial performance.
Some highlights from last week include the opening presentation given by Charles Alsdurf, Director of Healthcare Finance Policy and Operational Initiatives at HFMA. Mr. Alsdurf discussed regulatory changes, such as bundled payments, MACRA and MSSP’s evolving benchmarks. Throughout the conference, attendees also learned about our forthcoming Trisus platform and how the innovative solution suite will provide the technology to help create a better patient experience while improving reimbursement and compliance.
During the roundtable sessions, attendees shared best practices for strategic pricing, pharmacy revenue integrity, supplies management, and charge capture in a value-based world. We wrapped up the event with a keynote session from author, speaker, and wounded U.S. Army veteran, J.R. Martinez, who shared his story of courage in the face of adversity.
